Dear Staff Members,
The current challenging times have been hard for all of us. As we are preparing to have our lessons back, we must all ensure and work together in order to create a safe environment in our centre for our students and staff members as this is our utmost priority. We must all accept these changes and respect the rules and regulations that are going to be enforced to minimise the risk of the spread of the Coronavirus. Prime Tutors are taking the following measures:

  • We should all maintain the 2 meters distance from other staff members, management and students at all times. As a tutor, It becomes your responsibility to make sure the students are 2 meters at distance from each other. Markings on the floor have been made to help this.
  • We are encouraging students to use lavatory at home. However, students will only be sent to use the facility under the supervision of the management.
  • Stationary would not be provided to the students. Staff members should also have their necessary stationary with them helping minimising contact with other staff member(management).
  • The management should be immediately informed if the staff member or any student develop symptoms of the Coronavirus.
  • Face covering masks and protective gloves are MANDATORY and should always be worn inside the centre.
  • Prime Tutors stressing on the use of hand sanitisers and washing of hands regularly for the safety of everyone.
  • To help the lessons are conducted in clean and safe environment, staff members are responsible for cleaning their student’s tables after each lessons with antiseptic spray provided by Prime Tutors.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Keeping the children and staff safe is our utmost priority. Prime Tutors are taking necessary measures to prevent the risk of the spread of Coronavirus and to make sure the lessons are being conducted in a safe environment. In order to do the above, we have updated our policies as following and are requesting to please abide by these rules and regulation all the times:

  • Children should be dropped and picked not more than 5 minutes to the lesson’s start and end time.
  • The reception area will be closed and only students will be allowed inside. Parents must stay outside the door.
  • We are encouraging parents to conduct all the necessary meetings/Progress reports over the phone or via email.
  • Payments should be made through bank transfer referencing the student name and admission number. Please inform the management if you cannot do so and we will provide an alternative.
  • It is the parent’s responsibility to send their children with water bottles and necessary stationary(pen, pencil, books etc) in order to minimise staff’s interaction with the students. We urge the parents to educate their children of the current situation.
  • Parents must ensure the students to use lavatory at home.

In line with the scientific advice and government decisions regarding the schools, Prime Tutors is taking measure in changing its policies to reduce risk of spreading the Coronavirus. While children return to the tuition, It is Prime Tutor’s absolute priority to keep the students and staff members safe. Following are the measure we are taking as we recommence the lessons:

Limiting numbers of Students and Staff Members:
There will be a reduced number of students attending the tuition. Ensuring the students are able to sit within 2 meters, there will be limited numbers of students in each lessons. Students are no longer required to sit in group lessons. The number of staff members have been reduced as well limiting the amount of contact.

Cleaning and Hygiene:
Increasing measures are taken for cleaning and hygienic purposes. Hand sanitiser are placed at the entrance and throughout the centre to ensure the staff members and student sanitise as soon as they walked in the centre and regularly during their lessons. A member of staff will regularly be reminding students of the importance of good hand and respiratory hygiene. Regular hand washing for 20 seconds with antiseptic soap will also be encouraged by management for both staff and students. Increased cleaning of more frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, tables and chairs top etc.

Managing Risks to Children and Tutors
Following the government guidelines to ensure the safety of all students and tutors, regular risk assessment will be carried out which would directly address risks associated with Coronavirus so that measure are taken place to minimise those risks. Prime Tutors will make sure that no students attends the lessons if they or a member of their household have symptoms of the Coronavirus. Timetable changes of classes of different students, staggered break times and also drop off and collection times are going to be introduced.

Actions if there are any confirmed case:
If a student or a staff member develops symptoms of the Coronavirus, they will be sent home immediately by contacting their parents/guardians following the guidelines and be advised to self-isolate for 7 days and get tested. While the student awaits to be collected, a separate ventilated room with PPE has been arranged for the student. A separate rest room has also been arranged should the student needs to attend the lavatory. If the student or staff member are tested positive, the remaining group or the tutors will be sent home and advised to self-isolate for 14 days. If other cases are detected, Public Health England ‘s local protection team’s advice will be taken to take necessary actions.
